Brian H. Getson, Esq. leads the Firm's nationwide immigration practice and has extensive experience in representing both individuals and corporations in a wide variety of complex immigration matters. Among his clients are hospitals, universities, advertising agencies, doctors, research scientists, and engineering firms throughout the United States. After graduating cum laude from Duke University, Mr. Getson attended The University of Pennsylvania Law School. Upon receiving his law degree in 1995, he joined the Firm and concentrated his practice on immigration law. He has lectured to other immigration lawyers at continuing legal education courses, and has been selected multiple times as a
Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. Mr. Getson is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Robert B. B. Schatz, Esq. is a partner in the Firm and focuses his practice on personal injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Schatz has more than 35 years of experience as a lawyer. He is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin - Madison, L' Academie de Droit International -The Hague Academy, and Washington & Lee University School of Law. He represents a major international automaker in lemon law cases and also practices in the area of personal injury. He has successfully represented plaintiffs injured in car accidents and slip and fall cases and has extensive trial experience. Mr. Schatz is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, the Lawyers Club of Philadelphia, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He has been selected multiple times as a
Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
Marco Pignone III, Esq. is an associate in the Firm and concentrates his practice on immigration litigation. He has extensive trial experience and has represented immigrants in immigration courts nationwide in matters ranging from asylum to employment based green card applications. He has represented clients at all levels of the immigration court process, including the Board of Immigration Appeals, United States Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Pignone graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in 1996, and subsequently graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000. Prior to joining Getson & Schatz, P.C., he was a solo practitioner focusing exclusively on Immigration Law.
Lisa Getson, Esq. practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Real Estate, and Lemon Law. Ms. Getson is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University School of Law. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Montgomery Bar Association and Philadelphia Bar Association. She was elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Getson is also a licensed Pennsylvania Realtor with Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors.
Antonio J. Gil, Esq. is an associate at Getson & Schatz, P.C. practicing in the areas of immigration law and criminal defense. Mr. Gil graduated from Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, PA in 2008. While at Villanova, Mr. Gil worked with the Defender's Association of Philadelphia, the Federal Public Defender's for the District of Delaware, and the Federal Community Defender's Capital Habeas Unit. Through these experiences, Mr. Gil gained experience in criminal litigation at the state and federal trial levels, as well as the federal appellate level. Prior to joining Getson & Schatz, P.C., Mr. Gil worked for an immigration law firm where he litigated immigration matters in Federal Court and represented clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and United States Department of State. Mr. Gil has expertise on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. Mr. Gil earned his Bachelor's of Arts Degree in History from the University of Florida in 2002. Mr. Gil is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey.
